ISKA Africa

Hurgada , Egypt.  Mr. Mohamed  SOBIH,  our respected president of ISKA EGYPT, was promoter of the biggest event in Kick and Thai-Boxing in Egypt ever. This open air event was only 50 meters away from the red sea on the beach and was running for three days.

Over 100 fighters (male/ female)  from 15 countries of 3 continents came to Hurgada in the Regina resort Hotel to fight  in various disciplines. Mr. Sobih invited Mr. Abdulrahmann ELRAYESS from Lebanon as supervisor for that event. Also Mr. Walid KASSAS, Vice president of WPKA and Mr. Sami KIBLAWI, both from Lebanon, were pressent as special guests and give Seminars for many fighters.

For the very first time ISKA AFRICA sanctioned three African continental titles. Three national Champions of Egypt faced three Champions of Ghana for highclass title fights in oriental rules. Supervisor for the ISKA titles was ISKA EUROPE president Mr. Fritz EXENBERGER / AUT.

Ahmed GAMAL / EGY beat by KO in round 4 Raphael BOADZO / GHA and became the first ISKA AFRICAN champion – 60 Kg in OR in History.

Issah ISSAKA / GHA  beat by SUR in round 2 Mohamed ELHAMID / EGY and became new African Champion – 62,30 Kg in OR.

The new president of  ISKA GHANA Mr. Lawrence N. NMAI  beat by points Mr. Mohamed ABO TALB / EGY – 81,40 Kg and became new African Champion in OR.
